Movember
Movember is here! For those that don't know what Movember is,
please visit http://ca.movember.com/about/ for information.
We've made a Windsor Engineering team on Movember for everyone
to donate to. Check out mobro.com/windsoress for our team. Many
other engineering societies across Canada are doing the same
thing we are doing. Feel free to register and join our team.
There are also prizes for teams that raise a lot of donations so
start growin' your mo and collecting donations. For the gals out
there, you can also play your part by collecting donations and
encouraging participation in Movember. Lastly, click here for a

Movember!
Updates on Twitter
As some of you may know during this year's frosh week we had a
constant live feed of what was going on, when and where, via
twitter. This idea worked so well that the twitter feed will
continue to broadcast throughout the year. The "tweets" will not
be as frequent as they were during frosh week but they will be
going out whenever something important is happening like a
meeting or an event. You can get in on all this twitter action
by following @WindsorBeaver on Twitter. It is even possible to
have all the tweets sent directly to your cell phone via text
message; you just simply connect your twitter account to your
phone and presto you're in the loop 24/7.
Windsor Engineering Competition
WEC will be held on Nov. 5 and the last day to register is Oct.
24 so get your forms into the office ASAP. The form was sent in
the emails regarding WEC and would be sent from Linda so go
through your email and find it. If you can't find it or deleted
the email by accident do not hesistate to email kattanm@uwindsor.ca
and ask for a form.
Halloween Pub Party
This year's halloween party will be held on Monday October 31st
at the Pub. Make sure you come out and let all of your friends
know about it too. Everyone is welcome so you don't have to be
in engineering to come but if you are you will get one free
drink ticket at the door.
