Namasivayam, I do not know what form of meditation you
are doing but when I meditate (eyes closed) I picture the Buddha in
front of me, in the lotus position, and as my focus becomes stronger
the image of the Buddha grows making me (my sense of physical self
remains vaguely) feel small. The Buddha will fade away and I will
see some colours but mostly darkness. Then I feel as if I am growing
bigger and bigger, because of the vastness of black that I am
seeing. The feeling of being small changes quickly- I go from big to
small and so on. Usually I will see the Buddha do the same thing but
otherwise I usually see nothing else except some colours.
Some of your drawings are geometrical, abstract, symbolic and some
look very sexual. It's as if your mind is seeing the very basic
forms of life. I love how raw your pictures are- it's like I'm
seeing them in my mind myself.
When you meditate, do you open or close your eyes?
